Bacterial Culture

This procedure consists of a sampling of bacteria in infected pockets around the teeth. The sample is sent to a laboratory for an in-depth evaluation of the kind and number of bacteria that are present. The results allow for an accurate diagnosis and aid in selection of appropriate medications to use during treatment.
